Boho Crochet Ornaments Free Pattern

These ornaments/hanging decor are so cute and super quick to make! They are beautiful hanging in your tree, and they also make an adorable gift tag to add onto wine bottles or any other present you’re giving. Now you can give the gift of handmade crochet to everyone! ☺️

I have included 5 different patterns in this blog post, a wreath, a snowman, an icicle, a snowflake and a tree! These ornaments are super cute and durable! I have a toddler in my house and the thought of putting up the tree frightened me. But then I thought, well hey if I just crochet the ornaments this year, so they are all soft and made out of yarn, I think we’ll be good! And so these Boho Ornaments were born! 🙂

If you love the boho style, please go check out one of my other free patterns – the Boho Stocking that comes in large and mini sizes! I can’t stop making these!!

Special Stitches

  • Puff Stitch – yarn over, insert hook, pull up a long loop. (Yarn over and insert hook into same stitch/space, yarn over and pull up a long loop) four more times. Yarn over and pull through all loops in your hook, there should be 11. Finish with a ch 1.
  • Picot – chain 3, then slip stitch into the back bump of the first chain of the chain 3.

Stitch Chart Legend

The stitch chart is a visual representation of the instructions that are already written out. If you can’t read the stitch chart, don’t worry, you aren’t missing anything. If you follow the written directions, you will get the correct result. This is just added for people who prefer stitch charts. 🙂

Hanger Strings

Add a string of yarn or a crocheted chain to the top of your ornaments to hang them! I’ve done just a string for the green ones, and a chain for the cream colored ones so you can see how it looks & decide which one you want to use! I think a ribbon or twine would also be cute, or even adding some beads too! 🙂
